ITEM DESCRIPTION:

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the area of the fender where you’ll be applying the vents using a clean cloth or alcohol wipes. Ensure it’s free of dirt, grease, or wax residue. This step is crucial for proper adhesion.

2. Positioning: Carefully position the vents on the fender to determine their exact placement. Use a marker or pencil to lightly mark the outline of the vents or use painter’s tape to mark the edges. This will serve as a guide during installation.

3. Double-sided Tape: Cut the double-sided automotive tape into strips that fit along the edges of the vent openings on the fender. Apply the tape to the edges of the vents, ensuring full coverage along the contact area.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone: Once the tape is in place, add a thin, even layer of automotive silicone adhesive to the backside of the vents. This will provide an additional layer of secure adhesion and help seal the edges for a more permanent attachment.

5. Install the Vents: Carefully place the vents onto the fender, aligning them with the marked or taped outlines. Press firmly on the vents to ensure good contact with the tape and allow the silicone to set properly. Apply gentle pressure evenly across the vents.

6. Let It Cure: Allow the silicone adhesive to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions. It might take a few hours or more for it to fully set and provide a strong bond.

7. Final Touches: Once the adhesive has cured, remove any excess silicone or tape residue with a clean cloth and automotive cleaner if needed. Inspect the vents to ensure they’re securely attached.

8. Test and Adjust: Before driving, gently test the vents to ensure they’re securely in place. If any adjustments are needed, carefully reposition or reinforce them as required.
