ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our RS5 body kit is manufactured in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) with black gelcoat.
• Please be aware that the finish on our lip kit is not gloss black paint, however, if you are happy with the finish you can install them, otherwise you can paint them.

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Park the car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
– Clean the areas where the splitters will be installed, ensuring they’re free from dirt, grease, or residue.

2. Positioning:
– Place the front splitter, side skirts, and rear splitters onto the car to determine their ideal placement. Use painter’s tape or markings with a marker/pencil to outline precise positions for installation.

3. Applying Automotive Silicone:
– Apply a thin bead of automotive silicone adhesive along the edges of the splitters that will come into contact with the car’s surface. Ensure comprehensive coverage but avoid excess silicone.

4. Attaching with Screws:
– If the splitters have pre-drilled holes, align them with the marked positions on the car’s body.
– Using a screwdriver or drill, insert screws through the holes in the splitters into the car’s body. Start by loosely securing the screws.

5. Final Placement and Tightening:
– Once all screws are in place, ensure the splitters are aligned properly and sit flush against the car’s body.
– Proceed to tighten the screws firmly, ensuring a secure attachment of the splitters.

6. Clean-Up:
– Wipe off any excess silicone using a clean cloth or alcohol wipes to maintain a clean finish.
