INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface:
– Thoroughly clean the area on the trunk where the spoiler will be installed using isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth. Ensure the surface is completely free from dirt, wax, or residues for optimal adhesion.

2. Trial Fit and Marking:
– Place the spoiler on the trunk to confirm alignment. Use painter’s tape or masking tape to lightly mark the areas where the spoiler will be affixed.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape:
– Cut the double-sided automotive tape into appropriate lengths and carefully apply it on the marked areas of the spoiler. Ensure full coverage and firmly press the tape onto the spoiler surface.

4. Apply Silicone Adhesive:
– Apply a thin, even layer of automotive-grade silicone adhesive on the underside of the spoiler where it will make contact with the trunk. Avoid excessive application to prevent overflow.

5. Position and Install:
– Carefully position the spoiler on the trunk, aligning it with the marked areas. Gently press down to allow the double-sided tape to adhere to the surface. Apply even pressure across the spoiler for a secure bond.

6. Secure and Allow to Cure:
– Use additional masking tape or painter’s tape to secure the spoiler in place while the adhesive cures. Follow the recommended curing time provided by the silicone adhesive’s instructions for optimal bonding strength.

7. Final Checks:
– After the curing period, remove the securing tapes and visually inspect the spoiler’s attachment. Ensure it is firmly attached and make any necessary adjustments.
