INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface:
– Ensure the car’s rear trunk surface is clean and free from any dirt, wax, or debris that could hinder adhesion. Use rubbing alcohol or adhesive remover to thoroughly clean the surface.
– Dry the area with a clean cloth to make sure it’s completely free from any residue.

2. Test Fit and Align:
-Prior to applying any adhesive, first, place the VH style saloon carbon fiber rear spoiler on the trunk to confirm the alignment and fit.Use painter’s tape to hold it temporarily in place and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired positioning.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape:
– Cut the double-sided automotive tape into strips or sections to fit along the underside of the spoiler where it will make contact with the trunk surface.
– Remove the backing from the double-sided tape and carefully apply it to the designated areas on the spoiler. Ensure even coverage and secure adhesion.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone Adhesive:
– Apply a thin, even layer of automotive silicone adhesive on the underside of the spoiler where it will contact the trunk surface.

5. Position and Press:
– Align the spoiler properly using the painter’s tape as a guide. Carefully position it onto the trunk, applying gentle pressure to secure the adhesive and tape onto the surface.
– Apply more pressure evenly across the entire spoiler to ensure proper adhesion.

6. Allow Time to Cure:
– Let the silicone adhesive and double-sided tape cure.

7. Clean Up:
– After the curing period, remove any excess silicone that might have squeezed out using a utility knife or similar tool. Clean the area around the spoiler to remove any smudges or residue.

8. Final Inspection:
– Once everything is in place and cured, inspect the spoiler to ensure it’s firmly attached and aligned correctly.
