ITEM DESCRIPTION:

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the area on the car’s front bumper where the splitter lip will be installed using panel wipe. Ensure it’s dry and free from any debris or wax.

2. Dry Fit the Lip: Before applying any adhesive, do a test fit of the splitter lip on the bumper. Ensure it aligns properly and make any necessary adjustments.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape (Optional): For additional stability, you can apply double-sided automotive tape to the back of the splitter lip. This tape will provide initial adhesion before using silicone and screws.

4. Silicone Application: Apply a thin, even layer of automotive-grade silicone adhesive along the contact surface of the splitter lip that will attach to the bumper.

5. Position and Attach: Carefully position the splitter lip in place on the front bumper. Press firmly to ensure good contact between the lip and the bumper. The silicone will help create a strong initial bond.

6. Secure with Screws: To reinforce the attachment, use screws along the edges or designated areas of the splitter lip. Drill small guide holes if necessary, then secure the lip using appropriate screws and a screwdriver.

7. Cleanup: Wipe away any excess silicone that might have squeezed out during the attachment process. Use a clean cloth and a suitable solvent to remove any residue.

8. Allow Time to Cure: Let the adhesive cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions before driving the car. Typically, this involves allowing the silicone to set for several hours or as recommended.
