ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our GT500 style rear bumper and diffuser for the Ford Mustang 2015-2017 from PP Plastic (polypropylene).
• Our rear diffuser does not include exhaust tail pipes (skin only).

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Park the car on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
– Open the trunk or boot and remove any items to access the rear bumper mounts.

2. Removing the OEM Bumper:
– Locate and remove the screws, bolts, or clips securing the OEM bumper. These are typically found under the rear of the car or inside the trunk/boot.
– Carefully disconnect any electrical connectors or sensors attached to the bumper.
– With an assistant’s help, gently pull the OEM bumper away from the car and set it aside.

3. Modifying Exhaust Tips:
– Measure and mark the section of the OEM exhaust tips that need to be cut off for relocation.
– Using suitable cutting tools like a saw or angle grinder, carefully cut the marked sections of the exhaust tips.

4. Installing the New Bumper:
– Clean the mounting area and ensure it’s free from debris or residue.
– Position the new GT500 style rear bumper and diffuser onto the mounting points, aligning it with the body of the car.
– Secure the new bumper by reinstalling the screws, bolts, or clips removed from the OEM bumper onto the new bumper.

5. Final Checks:
– Double-check that all attachments and screws are securely fastened.
– Perform a final visual inspection to ensure the new bumper is installed correctly and looks as intended.
