ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our M-Performance style rear spoiler for the BMW 4 Series F83 M4 from carbon fiber with a gloss finish (no painting required).

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface: Ensure that the rear trunk surface is clean and free from any dirt, wax, or debris. Cleaning the surface with isopropyl alcohol is recommended to promote proper adhesion.

2. Dry Fit: Before applying any adhesive, dry fit the spoiler onto the trunk lid to ensure it aligns correctly and that you’re satisfied with its placement.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape: Cut the double-sided tape into strips or pieces that fit the underside of the spoiler. Apply the tape to the spoiler’s mounting areas, usually found along the edges.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone: After placing the double-sided tape, apply a thin, even bead of automotive silicone adhesive along the edges of the spoiler that will make contact with the trunk lid. This provides an extra layer of security.

5. Position the Spoiler: Carefully position the spoiler onto the trunk lid, aligning it precisely as you desire. Press firmly to ensure good contact with the adhesive and silicone.

6. Secure with Tape: If needed, use masking tape or painter’s tape to hold the spoiler in place while the adhesive cures. Be sure not to apply excessive pressure that could damage the spoiler or trunk lid.

7. Allow to Cure: Follow the recommended curing time for the double-sided tape and automotive silicone, which is typically 24-48 hours. Avoid driving the vehicle during this time to prevent any displacement of the spoiler.

8. Final Inspection: After the adhesive has cured, carefully inspect the spoiler to ensure it’s securely attached and properly aligned.
