ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our 3D style front splitter lip for the BMW M3 and M4 is manufactured from real carbon fiber with a gloss finish (no painting require).

INSTALLATION:

1. Lift the front of your vehicle using a car jack or ramps to create enough clearance to work comfortably.

2. Identify the ideal placement for the splitter by holding it up to the front bumper. Mark the locations where you’ll attach it with a pencil or painter’s tape for reference.

3. Clean the attachment points on both the splitter and the bumper thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris. You want a clean surface for the adhesive to bond effectively.

4. Apply a high-quality automotive silicone adhesive along the contact points on the splitter that will adhere to the bumper. Ensure that you spread the adhesive evenly and don’t use too much to prevent excess squeeze-out.

5. Align the splitter with the markings you made earlier and gently press it against the bumper. Make sure it’s centered and level.

6. To provide extra stability and ensure a secure fit, use screws to reinforce the attachment. Drill small pilot holes through the pre-marked spots on the splitter and into the bumper. Then, carefully insert screws through these holes, making sure they don’t penetrate through the bumper’s exterior.

7. Wipe off any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out during installation.

8. Allow the adhesive to cure for the recommended time, typically 24 hours, without washing your vehicle or exposing it to heavy rain during this period.

9. Once the adhesive has fully cured, perform a final check to ensure the splitter is securely attached and properly aligned.

10. Lower your vehicle from the jack or ramps.
