ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our front splitter lip for the BMW 3 Series F30 / F31 / F35 2011-2019 M-Sport from ABS plastic.
• Finished in gloss black
• It comes with double-sided tape.
• It comes with a set of screws.

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Vehicle:
– Ensure your vehicle is clean, and the front bumper is free of dirt and debris. You can use rubbing alcohol or soapy water to clean the area for a secure bond.

2. Dry Fit the Lip:
– Position the M Performance front lip on the bumper to check the alignment. Ensure it lines up correctly with the bumper’s contours.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape:
– Carefully apply double-sided automotive tape to the back of the lip, especially along the areas where it will make contact with the bumper.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone:
– On the backside of the lip, apply a thin, even layer of automotive silicone adhesive. This will provide extra bonding strength.

5. Position and Secure:
– Carefully position the lip back onto the bumper, aligning it properly. Press firmly to ensure the double-sided tape adheres to the bumper. Make sure the screw locations align.

6. Insert Screws:
– Carefully insert screws through the pre-marked points into the bumper. Use a screwdriver to tighten them securely.

7. Clean Excess Silicone:
– If any automotive silicone has oozed out, clean it up with a suitable cleaner or solvent.

8. Final Inspection:
– Step back and inspect the installation. Make sure the lip is securely attached to the bumper.

9. Cure Time:
– Allow the adhesive and silicone to cure for at least 24 hours before driving or exposing the vehicle to heavy rain.
