INSTALLATION:

2. Prepare the Area: Park your BMW 2 Series F22 (2014-2016) on a level surface and clean the antenna area thoroughly. Use panel wipe and a clean cloth to remove any dirt, debris, and residue.

3. Test Fit: Before applying any adhesive, position the carbon fiber antenna trim over the antenna to ensure it lines up correctly with the shape and contours. Confirm the fit.

4. Apply Silicone Adhesive: Along the edges and backside of the carbon fiber trim, apply a thin, even layer of automotive-grade silicone adhesive. This will help ensure a secure and waterproof bond.

5. Remove the Backing: If the double-sided adhesive tape is already installed on the trim, you can skip this step. However, if not, you should apply double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the trim and carefully peel off the backing to expose the sticky side.

6.Attach the Trim: Align the carbon fiber antenna trim with the antenna surface, starting at one end, and press it down gently but firmly. Ensure it adheres securely, especially around the edges.

7. Secure the Trim: If necessary, use masking tape or clamps to hold the trim in place while the silicone adhesive cures. Ensure the trim remains level and properly aligned.

8. Cure Time: Allow the silicone adhesive to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions, which may take several hours or more. Make sure the antenna trim is not disturbed during this time.

9. Final Inspection: Once the adhesive has fully cured, remove any excess silicone, clean the area, and inspect the carbon fiber antenna trim for proper alignment and a secure fit.
