ITEM DESCRIPTION:

INSTALLATION:

1. Park and Secure the Vehicle:
– Park your BMW 1 Series F20 F21 on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Prepare the Area:
– Ensure the front of the vehicle is clean and free from dirt and debris.
– Use a hydraulic jack or car ramps to slightly elevate the front of the vehicle for better access to the front bumper.

3. Test Fit the Front Lip:
– Temporarily position the M Performance style carbon fiber front lip to determine the ideal placement.
– Use a measuring tape and masking tape to mark the precise location, ensuring it’s level and symmetrically aligned with the bumper.

4. Pre-Drill Holes:
– Pre-drill holes in the marked locations on both the front lip and the vehicle’s bumper. These holes will be used for securing the front lip with screws.

5. Apply Automotive Silicone:
– Apply a thin, even layer of automotive-grade silicone adhesive to the edges and attachment points of the front lip. This will help create a secure and waterproof seal.

6. Attach the Front Lip:
– Position the front lip on the vehicle’s bumper, aligning it with the marked location.
– Secure the front lip in place by inserting screws through the pre-drilled holes. Ensure the screws are tightened securely.

7. Check Alignment:
– Use a level to ensure the front lip is level and properly aligned with the vehicle’s body lines. Make any necessary adjustments.

8. Final Inspection:
– Double-check that the front lip is securely attached and that the silicone forms a watertight seal.

9. Lower the Vehicle:
– Carefully lower the vehicle from the car ramps or hydraulic jack.

10. Clean Up:
– Remove any masking tape or excess adhesive, and ensure the front of the vehicle is clean.

11. Test Drive:
– Take your BMW 1 Series for a short test drive to ensure the new M Performance style carbon fiber front lip remains securely in place and does not affect the vehicle’s performance or handling.
