• Our CS style hood/bonnet for the BMW 1 Series 2011-2019 F20 / F21 is manufactured from high-quality aluminium.
• Finished in matte black “unpainted”.

INSTALLATION:

1. Park and Secure the Vehicle:
– Park your BMW 1 Series 2011-2019 F20 F21 on a level surface and engage the parking brake.

2. Prepare the Area:
– Ensure the vehicle’s front end is clean and free from dirt and debris.
– Use a hydraulic jack or car ramps to slightly elevate the front of the vehicle for better access to the hood.

3. Identify OEM Hood:
– Open the OEM hood and locate the attachment points, such as hinges and bolts.

4. Detach Components:

5. Remove OEM bonnet:
– Carefully lift the OEM bonnet from the vehicle’s hinges and set it aside.

6. Prepare the New bonnet:
– Examine the CS style aluminum hood bonnet to ensure it is in good condition and ready for installation.
– Ensure that any attachment points for components like hood struts are present and aligned.

7. Install the New bonnet:
– Position the new hood bonnet on the vehicle’s hinges, ensuring it fits properly and aligns with the existing mounting points.
– Reattach any components like hood struts that were present on the OEM hood.

8. Double-Check Alignment:
– Use a level to ensure the new hood bonnet is level and properly aligned with the vehicle’s body lines. Make any necessary adjustments.

9. Final Inspection:
– Tighten all hardware to secure the new hood bonnet in place.

10. Lower the Vehicle:
– Carefully lower the vehicle from the car ramps or hydraulic jack.

11. Clean Up:
– Remove any masking tape or debris from the installation process.

12. Test Drive:
– Take your BMW 1 Series for a short test drive to ensure the new CS style aluminum hood bonnet remains securely in place and does not affect the vehicle’s performance or handling.
