ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our lower splitter lip for the Audi RS6 Avant C7 / C7.5 from 2011 until 2018 is manufactured in house using high-grade FRP (fiber re-enforced plastic).
• We offer two finish options:

1. Primer (unpainted).
2. Gloss black paint finish.

INSTALLATION:

1. Safety First: Prioritise safety by ensuring the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, the engine is turned off, and the handbrake is engaged.

2. Gather Materials: Collect the necessary tools and materials, including the front bumper lower splitter lip, automotive-grade silicone adhesive, screws, a screwdriver or drill, measuring tape, a level, and a cloth.

3. Prep the Surface: Thoroughly clean the area where the splitter lip will be attached. Remove any dirt, grime, or residue from the bumper using a mild automotive cleaner. Ensure the surface is dry before proceeding.

4. Position and Align: Carefully position the splitter lip onto the front bumper to verify proper alignment. Make any necessary adjustments to ensure it fits snugly.

5. Apply Silicone Adhesive: Apply a generous bead of automotive silicone adhesive along the edges of the splitter lip that will come into contact with the bumper. Ensure an even and consistent application.

6. Attach with Screws: Insert screws through the pre-marked points on the splitter lip and into the corresponding positions on the bumper. Use a screwdriver or drill to secure the screws firmly, but do not overtighten to avoid damaging the splitter or bumper.

7. Check Alignment: Recheck the alignment and positioning of the splitter lip to ensure it’s aligned with the bumper and level. Make any final adjustments if necessary.

8. Wipe Off Excess Adhesive: Use a cloth to clean off any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out during installation. Automotive silicone may be challenging to remove once it dries.

9. Allow for Curing: Allow the silicone adhesive to cure for the recommended time specified by the manufacturer. This typically takes several hours or as indicated in the product instructions.

10. Final Inspection: After the adhesive has fully cured, carefully inspect the installed splitter lip to ensure it’s secure and properly aligned.

11. Test Drive: Before hitting the road, take a short test drive to ensure that the splitter lip remains firmly attached during normal driving conditions.
