ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our rear diffuser upgrade for the Audi S3 and RS3 8V 2012-2020 is manufactured in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber reinforced plastic).
• It comes unpainted.
• Our rear spoiler is not included.

INSTALLATION:

• Remove the Rear Bumper: To start, carefully remove the rear bumper from your vehicle in order to access the original diffuser. This step is essential to ensure a clean and smooth installation of the new diffuser. Furthermore, make sure you have the necessary tools on hand to avoid damaging the bumper or surrounding parts. Depending on the model and make of your vehicle, there may be specific clips or bolts that need to be loosened before the bumper comes off. Therefore, taking your time and working cautiously will help prevent any potential issues or damage during the process.
• Detach the Original Diffuser: Once the bumper is off, you will need to unclip and remove the stock diffuser. This process can vary depending on the diffuser’s attachment points. Thus, it is important to inspect how it’s secured to the bumper. Typically, you’ll find a series of tabs or screws holding it in place. As a result, using the correct tools to unfasten these clips will ensure you don’t break or damage any of the parts. Removing the old diffuser is necessary to make space for your new one.
• Fit the New Diffuser: After removing the original part, align the tabs of the new diffuser with the corresponding slots in the bumper. Be sure the diffuser fits snugly and securely into place. Once the tabs have gone through, lock them by inserting screws through a few of the tabs. This added security will, in turn, prevent the diffuser from moving or pulling back over time.
• Exhaust Modifications: Depending on your exhaust setup, modifications might be required to ensure that the tailpipes align properly with the new diffuser. This can involve adjusting the exhaust positioning or making custom modifications to get the perfect fit and finish. Take your time to ensure a seamless installation.
