ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our front and rear bumper conversion are manufactured from PP plastic (polypropylene).

• A lower ABS plastic front lip with a silver finish “please be aware that our front splitter will need re-painting”.

• A pair of plug and play fog lights cancellors (to stop any warning lights appearing on your dash).
• The bumper has pre-drilled holes for parking sensors and comes complete with dummy plastic covers for customers that do not have parking sensors.
• Rear bumper skin with built-in internal frame “unpainted”.
• A pair of stainless steel oval tailpipes.
• A pair of tailpipe re-locators.
• A 2 pieces rear diffuser “unpainted”
• 4 x pre-drilled sensor holes with plastic dummy / fake sensors.
• Fitting kit.

INSTALLATION:

1. Safety First: Ensure your vehicle is parked on a level surface, and engage the parking brake. Disconnect the battery for safety.

2. Raise the Vehicle: Use a jack to lift the front of the vehicle and secure it with jack stands for safety.

3. Remove the Front Wheels: This will give you better access to the bumper components.

4. Front Bumper Removal:
a. Locate and remove any visible screws, clips, or bolts securing the front bumper to the vehicle’s frame.
b. Carefully use a trim removal tool to pop off any plastic clips and tabs securing the bumper to the fenders and grille.
c. Disconnect any wiring harnesses, fog lights, or sensors attached to the OEM bumper.
d. Gently pull the OEM front bumper away from the vehicle, releasing it from any remaining clips or attachment points.

5. Prepare the New RS5 Front Bumper:
a. Inspect the RS5 style front bumper to ensure it is free of any shipping damage or defects.
b. Test-fit the new bumper to ensure it aligns properly with the mounting points on your vehicle.

6. Front Bumper Installation:
a. Align the RS5 style front bumper with the mounting points on your vehicle’s frame.
b. Secure the new bumper in place by using the OEM fasteners you removed earlier. Reattach any wiring harnesses, fog lights, or sensors.
c. Ensure all clips, screws, and bolts are tightened securely to hold the new front bumper in place.

Rear Bumper Removal and Installation:

7. Rear Bumper Removal:
a. Locate and remove any visible screws, clips, or bolts securing the rear bumper to the vehicle’s frame.
b. Carefully use a trim removal tool to pop off any plastic clips and tabs securing the bumper to the body.
c. Disconnect any wiring harnesses or sensors attached to the OEM rear bumper.
d. Gently pull the OEM rear bumper away from the vehicle, releasing it from any remaining clips or attachment points.

8. Prepare the New RS5 Rear Bumper:
a. Inspect the RS5 style rear bumper to ensure it is free of any shipping damage or defects.
b. Test-fit the new bumper to ensure it aligns properly with the mounting points on your vehicle.

9. Rear Bumper Installation:
a. Align the RS5 style rear bumper with the mounting points on your vehicle’s frame.
b. Secure the new bumper in place by using the OEM fasteners you removed earlier. Reattach any wiring harnesses or sensors.
c. Ensure all clips, screws, and bolts are tightened securely to hold the new rear bumper in place.

10. Lower the Vehicle: Carefully remove the jack stands and lower the vehicle to the ground.

11. Final Check: Give the entire vehicle a thorough inspection to confirm that all components are secure, and there are no loose parts.

12. Reconnect the Battery: Reconnect the vehicle’s battery.

• 2007 – 2012 In the last 2 photos, you can see that the taillights on this model do not line up with the bumper around the corner, as the rear bumper has been designed on a facelift 2013+ A5 / S5 so if you would like to correct this you can buy the A5 2013 – 2015 tail lights.
