ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our Audi A5 S5 2007-2015 coupe convertible rear boot spoiler ducktail from high-grade FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic).
• Please be aware that the finish on our rear spoiler requires primer before painting.

​INSTALLATION:

1. Clean the Surface:
– Ensure the rear boot’s surface is clean and free from dirt, dust, or any contaminants. Use a clean cloth and cleaning alcohol to thoroughly clean the area.

2. Position the Spoiler:
– Carefully position the rear boot spoiler ducktail on the boot lid where you want it to be installed. Take measurements to ensure it’s centered and aligned correctly.

3. Mark the Placement:
– Use masking tape to mark the edges of the spoiler’s placement. This will serve as a guide when applying the silicone.

4. Apply Silicone:
– Run a continuous bead of automotive-grade silicone adhesive on the underside of the spoiler, along the marked edges. Make sure the silicone is evenly distributed.

5. Place the Spoiler:
– Carefully place the spoiler onto the marked area, ensuring it aligns with the tape guides. Press down gently to spread the adhesive and create a strong bond.

6. Secure with Tape (Optional):
– Use additional strips of masking tape to secure the spoiler in place. This will prevent it from moving while the silicone cures.

7. Clean Excess Silicone:
– Wipe away any excess silicone that may have squeezed out from beneath the spoiler. Clean the area with a clean cloth to maintain a neat appearance.

8. Let it Cure:
– Allow the silicone to cure as per the manufacturer’s instructions, usually for at least 24 hours. Make sure the spoiler remains undisturbed during this time.

9. Final Inspection:
– After the adhesive has fully cured, inspect the installation to ensure it’s secure and properly aligned.
