ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our side skirts extension for the Audi A5 / S5 / RS5 2007-2015 are designed and manufactured in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber reinforced plastic).
• Finished in black FRP “Please be aware that the finish on our front splitter/lip is not gloss black paint, however, if you are happy with the finish you can install it, otherwise you can paint it.“.

​INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Clean the area along the side of the car where the extensions will be attached, ensuring it’s free from dirt, grease, or residue.

2. Positioning:
– Place the side skirt extensions along the lower edge of the car to determine their ideal placement. Use painter’s tape or markings with a marker/pencil to outline the precise positions for installation.

3. Attaching with Screws:
– If the extensions have pre-drilled holes, align them with the marked positions on the car’s side.
– Use screws to attach the extensions to the car. Start by inserting screws through the holes in the extensions into the car’s body. Ensure a snug fit without overtightening.

4. Applying Automotive Silicone:
– Once the extensions are in place with screws, apply a thin bead of automotive silicone adhesive along the edges where they meet the car’s body. This will enhance adhesion and seal any gaps for a secure fit.

5. Reattaching Screws:
– After applying silicone, reinsert and tighten the screws through the holes in the extensions. This will secure the extensions in place while the silicone sets.

6. Final Checks:
– Double-check that the extensions are securely attached and aligned properly with the car’s body.
– Wipe off any excess silicone using a clean cloth or alcohol wipes.
