ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture our 3-piece rear spoiler upgrade for the Audi A3 S3 and RS3 8V 2012-2020 in-house using high-grade FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic).
• It comes unpainted.
• Our rear diffuser is not included.

INSTALLATION:

1. Gather Your Tools:
Before commencing the installation, ensure that you have all the essential tools and equipment on hand. This includes the FRP rear spoiler, automotive silicone adhesive, a clean cloth, panel wipe, and masking tape.

2. Prepare the Surface:
Thoroughly clean the surface where the spoiler will be attached using panel wipe. This ensures a clean and residue-free bonding surface.

3. Position the Spoiler:
Temporarily place the FRP rear spoiler on the vehicle to confirm alignment and fit. Once satisfied with the positioning, use masking tape to secure it in place.

4. Apply Automotive Silicone:
Apply a generous amount of automotive silicone adhesive to the contact surface of the spoiler. Ensure even coverage, especially around the edges and corners.

5. Attach the Spoiler:
Carefully position the spoiler back into place, aligning it with the taped markings. Press it firmly onto the surface, allowing the adhesive to make contact.

6. Secure with Tape:
After attaching the spoiler, use additional painter’s tape to secure it in place while the silicone adhesive cures. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the recommended curing time.

7. Clean Excess Adhesive:
Wipe away any excess adhesive that may have squeezed out during installation, using a clean cloth and an appropriate solvent recommended by the adhesive manufacturer.

8. Allow for Proper Curing:
It’s crucial to let the automotive silicone fully cure before exposing the vehicle to extreme conditions or car washes. Follow the curing time specified by the adhesive manufacturer for optimal results.

9. Final Inspection:
Once the silicone has cured, remove any remaining tape and inspect the installed spoiler for alignment and stability. Make any necessary adjustments if required.
