• Our RS5 style rear bumper upgrade for Audi A5 / S5 2016-2019 Coupe / Convertible is manufactured from PP plastic (polypropylene).

COMES WITH THE FOLLOWING:

• Rear bumper skin “unpainted”.
• Gloss black rear diffuser with silver details.
• Comes with a pair of exhaust tips.
• A pair of red Reflective lights.

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparation:
– Park your vehicle on a flat and stable surface.
– Ensure safety by securely supporting the car on jack stands.
– Disconnect the vehicle’s battery as a safety precaution.

2. Removal of the OEM Bumper:
– Use a socket and wrench set to remove the screws, bolts, and fasteners holding the OEM rear bumper in place.
– Carefully detach any wiring or sensors connected to the bumper.
– Gently pry the bumper away from the vehicle, starting from the edges and working your way toward the center.
– Once the OEM bumper is completely removed, set it aside.

3. Exhaust Tip Modification:
– Determine the desired length for the exhaust tips on the new RS5 style bumper.
– Use a saw or cutting tool to carefully trim the OEM exhaust tips to the desired length.
– Smooth the cut edges with sandpaper.

4. Prepare the New Bumper:
– Sand the surface of the RS5 style bumper to ensure proper adhesion of paint (if colour matching is required).
– Apply primer to the sanded areas and allow it to dry thoroughly.
– Paint the bumper to match your vehicle’s colour, and let it dry completely.

5. Installation of the RS5 Style Bumper:
– Align the RS5 style rear bumper with the mounting points on your vehicle.
– Carefully slide the bumper into place, making sure it fits snugly.
– Reattach any wiring or sensors to the new bumper.
– Secure the bumper by tightening the screws, bolts, and fasteners.

6. Final Touches:
– Apply a thin, even bead of automotive silicone adhesive to ensure a secure fit of the modified exhaust tips into the bumper.
– Slide the modified exhaust tips into place on the bumper and press firmly.

7. Testing:
– Reconnect the vehicle’s battery.
– Check all lights, sensors, and functionality to ensure everything is working correctly.

8. Clean-Up:
– Clean the bumper and surrounding areas to remove any fingerprints or smudges.
