ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our M Performance style 3 pieces front splitter/lip for the BMW 3 Series M3 F80 2014-2018 is manufactured from ABS plastic.
• It comes with a gloss black finish.

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Lip:
– Lay the lip on a clean, flat surface.
– If desired, use masking tape to mark the alignment points on the lip to ensure it lines up correctly with the front bumper.

2. Clean the Contact Areas:
– Thoroughly clean the area under the front bumper where the lip will attach. Ensure it is free of dirt, grease, and debris.

3. Apply Automotive Silicone
– Apply a generous amount of automotive silicone adhesive to the back of the lip, focusing on the contact points where it will adhere to the bumper.

4. Align and Secure:
– Carefully align the lip with the front bumper, matching it to the marked points if you used masking tape.
– Once in position, press the lip firmly against the bumper to ensure a good bond with the silicone.

5. Screw Attachment:
– Use self-tapping screws to secure the lip in place. Place the screws through pre-drilled holes or, if necessary, create small pilot holes for the screws to prevent damaging the lip.
– Secure the lip by tightening the screws. Be cautious not to overtighten, as this could cause damage to the lip or the bumper.

6. Cleanup:
– Wipe off any excess silicone that may have squeezed out from the edges using a clean cloth.

7. Allow for Cure Time:
– Let the silicone adhesive cure, this ensures a strong and durable bond.

8. Visual Inspection:
– Once the adhesive has cured, perform a thorough visual inspection to ensure the lip is properly aligned and securely attached to the front bumper.

9. Test Drive:
– Take your BMW F80 M3 for a test drive to ensure the lip remains securely in place, even at higher speeds.
