ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• Our Porsche Cayman wide body for the 981 is manufactured in-house from high-grade FRP (fiber reinforced plastic).

COME WITH:

​Material (FRP):

• 3 Pieces Front lip “unpainted”.
• 4 x Wheel arches “unpainted”.
• 2 x Canards “unpainted”.
• A pair of side skirts “unpainted”.
• A rear diffuser is “unpainted”.

​Material (Carbon fibre):

• Rear GT style spoiler.

INSTALLATION:

1. Preparing the Car:
– Park the car on a level surface and ensure the area is well-lit.
– Clean the car thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris.

 2. Cutting Body Panels:
– Use appropriate cutting tools to trim the front and rear arches, creating space for the wider body kit components.

3. Test Fitting:
– Dry-fit the wide body kit components to ensure proper alignment and fitment.
– Make any necessary adjustments or trims to the kit or the car’s body for a perfect fit.

4. Bonding and Attaching:
– Apply bonding adhesive as per the manufacturer’s instructions to attach the wide body kit parts to the car.
– Use fiberglass or body filler to smooth out any gaps or imperfections between the kit and the car’s body.

5. Smoothing and Sanding:
– Once the components are securely in place, use sanding and smoothing tools to refine the bodywork.
– Ensure all transitions between the new kit and the original body are seamless.

6. Priming and Painting:
– Apply primer to the modified areas to prepare them for paint.
– Paint the wide body kit and the modified areas to match the car’s color or desired finish.

7. Final Touches:
– Reinstall any additional components like bumpers, side skirts, or other parts that were removed initially.
– Check for any loose fittings or imperfections and make final adjustments as needed.
