ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufacture the Mercedes CLA-Class W117 CLA45 AMG side skirts insert from carbon fiber with a gloss finish (no painting required).

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Surface:
– Clean the side skirts area of your Mercedes CLA45 AMG using panel wipe. Ensure it’s free from any dirt, wax, or debris that could hinder adhesion. Wipe the area dry with a clean cloth.

2. Test Fit and Alignment:
– Before applying any adhesive, place the carbon fiber side skirts inserts on both sides of the vehicle to confirm alignment and fitment. Use painter’s tape to temporarily hold them in place. Adjust the positioning if necessary.

3. Apply Automotive Silicone Adhesive:
– Apply a thin, even layer of automotive silicone adhesive to the backside of the carbon fiber side skirts inserts. Ensure to cover the areas that will come into contact with the side skirts of the car.

4. Position and Secure:
– Align the inserts properly using the painter’s tape as a guide. Gently position them onto the side skirts, pressing firmly to secure the adhesive onto the surface.
– Apply uniform pressure across the entire length of the inserts to ensure proper adhesion.

5. Clean Up:
– After the installation, clean off any excess silicone that may have squeezed out during the process. Use a clean cloth and a suitable cleaner to remove any residue or smudges.

6. Final Check:
– Once the adhesive has set, inspect the side skirts inserts to ensure they’re firmly attached and aligned correctly. Gently test their stability by applying slight pressure.
