1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the area where the spoiler will be attached using rubbing alcohol or mild detergent. Ensure the surface is dry before installation.

2. Position the Spoiler: Place the spoiler on the trunk to determine the desired position and alignment. Use masking tape to temporarily secure it in place.

3. Apply Double-Sided Tape: Cut the double-sided automotive tape into strips and apply them along the underside of the spoiler where it will contact the trunk. Ensure the tape adheres evenly to the spoiler.

4. Apply Silicone Adhesive: Apply a thin layer of automotive silicone adhesive along the edges of the spoiler that will contact the trunk. This helps to create a secure bond and prevent any potential movement.

5. Align and Attach the Spoiler: Carefully position the spoiler onto the trunk, aligning it with the desired placement. Press firmly to ensure the double-sided tape adheres to the surface.

6. Secure with Masking Tape: Use masking tape to hold the spoiler in place while the adhesive cures. Ensure proper alignment before the adhesive sets.

7. Clean-Up: Wipe away any excess silicone or smudges with a clean cloth. Remove any masking tape that was used for securing the spoiler.

8. Allow for Cure Time: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the automotive silicone adhesive regarding curing time. It’s typically recommended to let it cure for at least 24 hours before driving or exposing the vehicle to water.
