ITEM DESCRIPTION:

• We manufactured the Audi R8 V8 V10 2007-2015 front splitter lip from FRP (fiber re-enforced plastic).
• It comes unpainted.

INSTALLATION:

1. Prepare the Area: Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake for stability.

2. Clean the Surface: Wipe the area where the front splitter lip will be installed using a microfibre cloth and panel wipe to ensure it’s free from dirt and grease.

3. Position the Splitter Lip: Place the FRP front splitter lip in the correct position along the front bumper, ensuring proper alignment and fitment.

4. Mark Mounting Points: Mark the areas on the bumper where the screw holes align with the front splitter lip.

5. Drill Holes: Use a drill to create pilot holes at the marked mounting points on the bumper.

6. Apply Automotive Silicone: Apply a thin, even layer of automotive silicone adhesive along the contact area of the front splitter lip that will attach to the bumper. This helps to create a secure and sealed bond.

7. Attach the Splitter Lip: Align the pre-drilled holes on the front splitter lip with the holes on the bumper. Insert screws through the lip and into the holes on the bumper. Tighten the screws gradually and evenly to secure the splitter lip in place.

8. Clean-Up and Final Check: Clean off any excess silicone around the edges of the splitter lip. Wipe down the installed parts and the vehicle’s surface with a microfibre cloth to remove any marks or fingerprints.
